Karlovačko!

We decided it was time for us to take on a big art project, so we started planning a mural. There are already several murals painted on the walls of the center, so we spent the day brainstorming of other themes. We decided the most fun, although challenging, mural would be amusement park themed. Damir, another volunteer at the center, drew out some sketches - he's really artistically talented!
We spent the rest of the day at the center enjoying the sun and interacting with some of the kids.
Later that night, all the girls plus Adelita, Maja, Pega, Sonja, and Damir went to Restoran Gvozd, which is the only restaurant in Gvozd. We pass the restaurant everyday on our way to Suncokret, and we were naturally curious about trying the local cuisine. It was a really nice time having everyone at the same table.

And of course, the best part of night was that we got to try the local brew - Karlovačko, which is brewed in Karlovac! It's probably become my favorite beer since I went. Ha ha!
