Tyedying Frenzy!

Last week, we told Maja that we wanted to tyedye with the kids. Because there are no stores that carry dye in Gvozd, someone had to go to Zagreb to pick it up. There were only two colors available - red and blue. Some of the kids knew what tyedying was from YouTube and TV, but had never done it themselves, so it was fun to show them how to do something they've never done before! Especially because it's very common for American kids to do this growing up :)

After tyedying, we put the shirts away until tomorrow. Then it was time to work more on the mural. The mural was mostly Jennifer and Damir's undertaking, but each of us added our personal touch somewhere along the way.
